ODR will offer small, American-style tapas in a friendly, casual, everyday environment. The four partners are

Nick Guitart, Jim Jones, Theresa Previ and Ryan Roerg

Our executive chef, Nick Guitart alone brings more than two decades worth of restaurant experience to the venture.  First in the Washington DC area, Mr. Guitart stepped into the industry in 1993 while earning a bachelors degree from Georgetown University.  Over the course of the next decade Mr. Guitart honed first his management skills, gaining extensive experience in inventory, ordering, training, and employee development.  From early on, Mr. Guitart excelled behind a bar as well as in front, learning all things beer liquor and wine, from serving and safety, to setting a balanced and comprehensive wine list.  In early 2006 Mr. Guitart left the DC area to pursue a degree from the French Culinary Institute in New York.  He has spent the last four years in the restaurant industry in New York City and brings his extensive knowledge of food, cooking methods, and kitchen management to the venture.

Combined, the three partners rounding out the management group have more than 30 years of business experience.  James K. Jones has been the Co-owner and Partner of a full service production company since 2001.  From movies, to television shows, commercials, biographies, and corporate videos, Mr. Jones has directed and produced more than 150 projects.  He brings extensive knowledge of business practices, including ownership and operation, to the venture as well as knowledge of the local area as he currently resides in Long Island City.  Mr. Jones has a dual bachelors in Political Science and International Affairs, and he pursued his MBA at Johns Hopkins University.

In addition to 8 years restaurant experience, Theresa Previ brings more than 9 years marketing experience to the venture, including a strong knowledge of graphics design and web development.  Ms. Previ first entered the restaurant industry while earning a bachelors degree from George Mason University.  After graduating, she stayed in the Virginia area and extended her knowledge of the industry into management, and marketing.  Ms. Previ came to the New York area in 2005; in addition to owning her own successful graphics and web design consulting business for the past 10 years, Ms. Previ currently is a Senior Web Designer for a major travel website.

Ryan Voerg brings an extensive knowledge of business practices and the finance industry to the venture, as well as knowledge of the local area as he also currently resides in Long Island City and has lived in Queens for the past 5 years.  Mr. Voerg began his career in the banking industry while earning a bachelors in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.  He returned to upstate New York after graduation to continue in the lending arena until moving to New York City in 2003.  For the past 6 years, Mr. Voerg has been an officer in the hedge fund industry.  Mr. Voerg has unique knowledge and expertise of business operations, both front and back office, as well as compliance and regulations.
